About Me:
WestKoast, born on April 24th, 1980 in West Covina, California and the father of two children, Angel Cortez Ostos and Azsia-Marie Theranita Ostos, has led a hip-hop influenced lifestyle for as far back as he can remember. Growing up around Oldies and early Gangster Rap like, Easy-E, NWA, Too Short, and AMG to name a few, he was instantly drawn to the sound.

WestKoast started his journey through hip-hop as a graffiti artist back in the day; having written for many different crews such as Kids Running Society, Society's Sickest Kriminals and Taggers On Rampage, among others.

Soon after a brief run in with law for displaying his freedom of artistic expression, WestKoast had more time then ever to really sit back and listen to music. He quickly became a big fan of East Coast hip-hop due to the intricate rhyme schemes, lyrical delivery and all out hip-hop style. From there his interest in lyricism became more of a practice and before long WestKoast was battling fellow students and battle crews in the lunch quad in high school.

After many years of battling, and to date avoiding any noteworthy losses, WestKoast has evolved himself into a highly combatable and extremely lyrical emcee!
