Jonathan "Jay Star" Hurt is the young CEO of Star Time Entertainment a collection of independant artist on the grind. Born and raised in the Bronx, New York, Jay has been around Hip Hop his entire life and pays homage to artist like Biggie, Tupac, Nas, Snoop, Big Pun,and Dre for there excellence in taking Hip Hop to the level it is on today. Jay now 24 has been raping since the age of 15. "I started writting ryhmes to other peoples songs and concepts and soon started to develop my own" he says when asked his start in writting music. He goes on to say that he laced his first track with paradon with a four track tape recorder and a djx yamahaa keyboard. Ever since then he has fallen in love with Hip Hop and is working toward bringing his carear above ground. He is currently working on his first street album titled "Classic" that will hit the streets and internet for free in the next couple of months. Jay plans on taking it to the next level with this project hoping to catch the attention of the big fish in the industry.
